I served a fresh trout Ceviche, squash and carrot soup topped with bread crumbs and Pepper Jack, then Shepherd's Pie with curry seasoning with a splash of gravy and salad on the side. Everything went down well, I think. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. We had to tear ourselves away from the table and the conversation... we could have talked into the evening... but Jodi had to get back to teach a yoga class and I had to prepare for my English class.
We'll be visiting Jodi's organic garden on Saturday with Leanne and Drew. They are at the end of their trip and have decided to spend their last weekend with us... we'll get to hear about all their adventures. We're looking forward to it!
