We said goodbye to our guests, Leanne and Drew, today. They're on their way to Jaco today to spend a week at the School of the World where they will enjoy some yoga, photography and Spanish classes. Then they will spend the rest of their visit touring the country. We are delighted that they've decided to make Hush Valley Lodge their final stop before flying home... so we'll be saying hello again, before the final goodbye. We can't believe how incredibly lucky we've been with all our guests... they've all been so nice. And Leanne and Drew are no exception! We've loved all the lively conversations and exchanging of ideas. Having a B&B is a great way to meet some pretty amazing people from all over the world. And to quote Field of Dreams 'if you build it, he (they) will come'... we are learning that is so true! And so exciting.

My husband, Kevin, and I are from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. We decided to leave the cold winters of the Great White North and the hustle and bustle of our busy lives to reinvent ourselves in the beautiful mountains of Costa Rica. The planning stage started in June 2011 and we embarked on our new adventure on August 23, 2012. Welcome to our journey... enjoy the ride.
