Although it was a gorgeous day again today, it did start to rain just before suppertime. It's still raining in fact, which is fantastic, but quite unusual. It rained yesterday too, a good downpour, but it only lasted about an hour. The river is dirty and Kevin had to go shut the gate to the conduit... oh, just like the early days.
We were sitting inside and we heard a noise outside. It sounded like something was moving one of the chairs. Kevin opened the door and lo and behold, look what the storm dragged in.... our precious lost stray dog, Feliz. We were so happy (and relieved) to see him! He was soaking wet and hungry. We promptly brought him in (which goes against the rules with strays) and we fed him. It felt a bit like a party. I can't tell you just how truly happy we are to see that he is no worse for wear. God bless him! He's now curled up, sleeping on the little mat under the chair. Welcome home, Feliz, welcome home.
