Kevin and I went to visit our friend, Seidy, to see her goats. I'm looking into making soap with goats milk and we wanted to have a chat about purchasing some of her milk. While we were there, Seidy shared her new hobby with us: she's made three different lamp shades in the last week. She searched how to do it on the internet and this is one. She made them with bamboo paper, then added flowers from her garden. The texture is delicately organic. Kevin and I think they're incredible! Then she showed us three frames with flowers pressed between the glass. Absolutely exquisite. THEN.... she came out with painted plates, with the intention of transforming them into clocks. They were so beautiful, everyone uniquely different. This lady's got tons of talent and should be selling her stuff!

My husband, Kevin, and I are from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. We decided to leave the cold winters of the Great White North and the hustle and bustle of our busy lives to reinvent ourselves in the beautiful mountains of Costa Rica. The planning stage started in June 2011 and we embarked on our new adventure on August 23, 2012. Welcome to our journey... enjoy the ride.
